WARCANA Attack Spell Concepts - Void Forging

Concept art for two Attack Spells of the Void Forging faction in WARCANA.
Attack Spells are cards which give the player the possibility to influence the battlefield directly. Because of the custom engine, our 3D to 2D workflow & connected performance issues we had some pretty strict boundaries (e.g.: no alpha blend just clip, animation lengths & sheet size) in production. These concepts were partly done with the future 3D-Tech in our custom engine in mind, which in the end sadly didn't make it.
